Voici un tatoueur ou une personne tatouée mais un artiste peintre américain. Cet artiste c’est Shawn Barber, il ne réalise que des toiles représentant des personnes qui, d’habitude, n’ont pas leur place sur de telles toiles, des personnes avec de vraies personnalités, un look hors du commun mais surtout des personnes tatouées.
Cela fait bientôt 10 ans que Shawn peint de tels portraits, il a pu exposer son travail dans de nombreuse galeries aux Etats Unis, notamment à New York, Los Angeles ou Chicago. Mais après avoir passé plusieurs années à peintre de tels tableaux et à se documenter sur l’univers du tatouage, Shawn a voulu lui aussi se lancer dans le monde du tatouage. Il s’est alors acheté un dermo et s’est impliqué dans le tatouage avec rigueur et détermination comme il l’avait fait pour la peinture et le dessin précédemment dans sa vie, et comme le travail paie toujours, il est rapidement devenu un très bon tatoueur.
